Air Shark Project

There will be meeting and AirShark work session on June 12, 2010 at the chapter hanga starting at 8:30 am. During the meeting a schedule will be developed for the summer of 2010.

A regular work day will be established similar to last year when work on the project occured every Monday evening at 6:30pm. The goal is to get the project finished this summer.

During the week of July 26th we will be at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, so that will be the only week when will not work on the project.

In January 2007 Dan Fulweiler approached the chapter with an offer of a partially completed homebuilt Air Shark III project he was willing to donate for use as an airport gate guard. This was something that airport mamagement has been desiring for a long time. The chapter agreed to tackle the project.

A photo diary was begun as we surveyed the project and the made preparation for the move to the chapter's hangar at Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay. As the project progresses and more photo's become available, the diary will be updated.
