Many chapter activities involve educational opportunities. One primary outreach is focused on young people through the chapter's involvement with the EAA Young Eagles program.

The chapter also offers the opportunity for young people to apply for a scholarship to help with the cost of obtaining an aviation oriented education.

During our monthly meetings we include programs that address various aspects of aviation safety. Often these programs are presented by chapter members while some are occasionally provided by guest speakers such as when Adam Smith visisted in June, 2008, shown below.
